Bat came in with manufacturer's defects of multiple indentation rings around the barrel. It must have missed inspection and was painted and finished. I've never seen an alloy bat, new or used, with indentation rings. And I've umpired and inspected hundreds if not a thousand bats for LL and Travel.
I contacted Rip-It Sporting Goods and they provided a no-cost to me return shipping label. I shipped the bat back to Rip-It and they are sending out a new bat. Rip-It Customer Service couldn't explain why the bat was like that. The new replacement is due into us today. |
